Stories From Umbria ~ Week Two
The week began with yet another dreary, drizzly, dismal day, and I really was feeling worse since my cough had now migrated upwards and I had a head cold to go along with my horrible cough. I will admit I had second thoughts about us spending seven weeks in Umbria in the middle of winter at that something, but I did my best to put them aside and look ahead. There is a bar just down the hill from us in Acquasanta that we had been told offered a great lunch for a inexpensive price and in fact, we had already dined there three times, thoroughly enjoying each meal. We had never visited the bar for a morning cappuccino though which we were told is the first in the area, so thought we needed to check it out.
